Trakker Sanctuary Retention Sling V2

The Trakker Sanctuary Retention Sling V2 has been redesigned with fish welfare at its heart, offering improved support, water flow and safety for carp while they’re temporarily retained.

At 115cm long, 30cm wide and 65cm deep, the V2 is wider than its predecessor, giving larger carp more room to move naturally and reducing pressure on their fins.

Its fish-friendly mesh allows excellent water flow while the carp is suspended, helping reduce scale damage and allowing water to drain quickly when weighing. The shaped design provides even support across the fish’s body.

Four high-quality buoyancy floats keep the sling supported in the water, allowing the carp to recover while you prepare your scales, camera or other equipment.

The sling also features reinforced dual weighing straps with fixed loops, double-reinforced carry handles and a 5m retaining cord, providing added security whether the fish is in the water or being lifted for weighing.

Carp Care: Carp should be retained for a maximum of 30 minutes. Keep retention as short as possible, particularly during warmer periods when oxygen levels are lower. If longer retention is necessary, use a suitable carp sack. Always dry the sling thoroughly at home to help prevent the spread of disease.
